That’s Bell’s Accommodation in Glen Innes, an architect-designed apartment in the CBD, which brings a new dimension to catering for corporate and special occasion guests in country New South Wales.
The modest façade of the near-100 year old building at the northern end of Grey Street belies the apartment’s luxurious interior: high ceilings, muted grey, wheat and defused burgundy décor, soft, neutral carpet, comfortable furnishings. The atmosphere is one of tranquility with street noises silenced by double brick walls and double glazed windows, temperatures kept constant during Glen Innes’ distinctive seasons by reverse cycle air-conditioning.
The lounge’s generous, rich leather suite is complemented with chocolate brown furnishings, including desk, electric fireplace, concealed lighting, plasma TV, DVD, stereo/ surround sound, Internet facilities and shuttered windows.
The generous-sized, eat-in kitchen, with polished timber floors and granite-topped benches, has all the expected labour-saving appliances including dishwasher and washing machine together with quality kitchenware and china.
Harmony and tranquility are enhanced by the bedroom and its comfortable furnishings; the bed, king-sized with fine, crisp linen and robes on hand.
The bathroom, too, conveys spaciousness with a two-person spa, shower (complete with the requisite shampoos/conditioners) and separate toilet.
The apartment has been designed, with the guidance of retired architect Ann Brewer, for corporate and other discerning visitors as well as those in the local community wanting to mark special occasions such as a honeymoon or anniversary.
Please note there is a 2 night minimum for bookings except for the
Australian Celtic Festival when there is a MINIMUM 3 NIGHT STAY
